LIFEGROUPS THIS FRIDAY (28th JULY)

how awesome was last week's CENTRAL. Dan talking about the 7 checklist that all of us should get into our heads. Can you gals remember?? The main one - COMMITMENT>.....

SPeaking about commitment.............this friday we will have lifegroups. MAn it has been a veri veri long time since we met as a cell group...life group i mean. Man, i should so get use to the lifegroup thingy. Anyway, i hope you gals will be commitment to coming to lifegroups becoz its as equally important as attending CENTRALs everi friday nites.....

Remember that cells group is not only a social event but a time where we can really grow and learn from each others' experiences and care for one another, being commited to our friends. So do come because we are going to talk abt YOUR BIG DREAMS for God. Come prepared to share the dreams you gals have.

SO its @ my place for now....if there is a change in location i'll let u gals know asap. Come okay!!

7TH JULY CENTRAL

Heya sweethearts....

welcome back to Melbourne Laurze n Ruthie...hopefully Queenzie was awesome. ANyway, all you gals should be back in school huh! HOpefully that is going well...although i suspect you gals still have the holiday mood still going on. Haahaaa...that's cool!

ANyway, for those who weren't able to make it for last week's social...just an update on what we did. We rocked up @ Steph. Lancaster's house for a movie nite...i kinda nejoyed myself...meeting gals i never met and watching "HITCH" and "PRIDE AND PREJUDICE" while enjoying a few slices of pizza and a nice serve of hot COLES waffles with choc-mint ice-cream. It was nice. Put on a few pounds after that nite...but who cares....i just love food. Hope that for those who went, you all enjoyed yourself.

Anyway, this friday nite will be a corporate nite @ church - CENTRAL @ 7pm as usual. SO do come. It would be an exciting time. An oh yarh....you gals have to come becoz there will be a very very important announcement that will be made that nite. SO if u wana noe the latest scoop...for instance, who is getting married or who is attached?? Haahaa...then you've gotta come this friday nite. Come early if you can coz i'll be there. So yeah.

SOCIAL NITE (30th June)

Hey gorgeous....

miss me?? Heehee....hope you gals are enjoying the last week of your holidays. I know i am. Anyway, this friday will be a social nite. So here is the info:

Time: 6pm - 11pm

So what we will be doing is combining with another cell and we are gonna have a pizza/dvd nite. It would be great. So come with an empty stomach and bring a few dvds you gals wana watch. We dun have anything specific...so bring wateva dvds......and do bring about $8 for pizza and other food stuff..

This is going to be a great time for us to get to know other gals from other cell groups. So yeah. If you can't make it pls let me know. If you don't have transport pls let me know too..i can arrange transport somehow. So yeah. Would love to see you gals. It's been a while since we met up as a cell man...too too long. So yeah. Looking forward to seeing you gals.

LAST NITE...

Hey gurls..

how cool was our very own Dan Lian, the love doctor. Haahaa..so cute...him telling us his bit of love story. Haahaa...oh well, on a more serious note..he kinda talked about having ROMANCE WITH GOD. THat was although a simple practical message, but a very good reminder for all of us listening to it.

Hope you gals really saw a mini-breakthrough in CENTRAL last nite..coz like wat Dan said, i really believe that our Youth Ministry will really impact heaps of young lives. And becoz of that we all need to start getting equiped and ready for what God has for us.

Anyway, as you all would have heard from last nite's announcements: (1) NO CELL this coming friday..instead there is DARE GIRLS on the thursday, 22nd of JUNE. (2) On the 30th of June its a SOCIAL NITE more will be said as the date comes closer.

So hope you gals have a great 2 weeks of holidays and remember we'll see each other soon. *muaks*

LAST ONE FOR THE TERM!!

Hey galz...

i know i've not been calling you all and updating tis bloggie. But just wanted to know that you gals are still in my prayers..even though most of you are starting to enjoy your holidays. So this friday will be our last corporate meeting for the term and then there will be no lifegroups or corporates till the new term starts. So just a few announcements:

Corporate @ church this friday (16th JUNE 2006). Same time, 7pm-9:30pm.

Dare Girl 2006 is about to explode onto the scene with Lucinda Dooley and Lisa McInnes-Smith. Its next thursday, 22nd of JUNE. It is going to be awesome. DO sign up asap if you haven't. I'll be there ...so come come come!! The theme is to wear your PJs..i doubt i will though..haahaaa...you dun wana see me in my PJz..you'll puke. Haahaa...jkjk. Anyway do come. If you can't make it becoz of transport..let me know i can work things out. If its too expensive..let me noe, i've got connections. Haahaaa..so yeah.

ANyway, i will stop here..i hope to see you gals on friday nite. SO yeah, transportation problem pls let me noe okay. If i have to take a bus to pick u up..i will..haahaaa..see yas then.

GET OUT OF YOUR SEAT!

HEy gals...

how's everything going? Busy i'm sure..knowing that SACs and other exams and tests are near. But still i'm glad you gals could still come for youth corporate meetings. Just thought i'd start updating this blog. I've just been really busy...exams in a week time and assignments are still piling up. A bit stress, but still surviving. Do pray for me as i continue to keep you gals in mine. *Smile*

Anyway, just thought that what Phil was talking about on friday nite was so relevant to us. So here are some thoughts that i'd like to share.

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church

and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."

(Ephesians 3:20)

So...there are so many times when we think that it is all God's work, to do miracles and make things happen, while all we need to do is just pray and believe. But Phil was saying that sometimes its not just God doing his thing. Rather it is how His generation respond to Him. He talked about how we as His rising generation should start getting off our lazy bums and start getting involve and make a difference in our high schools, in our families, in our communities. Feeling inadequate to really do anything? Here is what the bible says:

"For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.

To Him be the glory forever! Amen"

(Romans 11:36)

"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power,

of love and of self-discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord..."

(2 Timothy 1:7-8)

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young,

but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."

(1 Timothy 4:12)

Phil said this which really made me realise how important it is for us to recognize that we play such an important role in accomplishing the greatest commission God has for us. He said this: There is a sound that God wants to bring to this generation that gets louder for the cause of Christ.

What will you do? Will you just live life like any other person who doesn't know God, or would you be willing to take the risk, get out of your comfort zone and experience God's power in your life when you take each bold step in being that much closer fulfilling the great commission? Think about it. Feel free to share your thoughts abt what was just written. For all you know it might encourage someone who reads this blog. *smile* I hope this encouragous you to live life differently. Its now 1:30am and i need to get back to studying...so i shall stop here. You gals have a great week that is coming up. And yes, i'll keep you gals in my prayers always because you all are so precious to Him. Hehehe...i love you gals. Hope to see you this friday.

How cool is that gonna be man.....better than being on tv @ a rugby match...a great piece of safeway's mudcake served wif extra oreos ice-cream....or even a kiss from Mayor John So, who is definietly not my bro. Hahaha...........Okay that was just lame *can't help it...exams stress taking over*

So bring bring your friends for this friday nite. Drag them along if you have to. As usual...the cool Dan the man Lian will be speaking...which is definitely, 120% awesome. Really be prepared to be blown away by the presence of God.

So yeah....church tis friday nite..starts @ 7:30pm. If you gals can make it...come a bit earlier to help out...i'll be there, give me a ring if u wana be there. Hahaha....so yeah!! It will be an awesome nite of ministry and entertainment. Dun miss it for the world okay okay!! Cool stuff!!
